	The National Investment Bank is an international bank, which operates in the global market out of the São Tome´s financial centre. The strategic location of São Tomé and applicable legislation assures an excellent geographical coverage and a high level of security in financial investments. The National Investment Bank was established in São Tomé and Príncipe in May 2003, and was granted by the regulator authorities ( Central Bank) a commercial and investment banking licence by March 19th 2004. In 2005 the bank was acquired by Superior Investments (USA), today the bank major shareholder.
